# Non-technical roles

> Build and use agents in the web app — no IDE or CLI required.

Luno OS is built on a strong code-based foundation, but you don't need to be technical to build or use what runs on it. The web app has three modes, and which ones you see depends on your organization role:

* **[User view](https://docs.os.meetluno.ai/learn/web-app/user-view.md)** (everyone): your Home, **My tasks** (approvals and reviews waiting on you), **Notifications**, pinned items and the Spaces you belong to, with their apps, chats and workflows. Ask **Luno**, the read-only assistant, about anything you can see. See [Chat](https://docs.os.meetluno.ai/learn/web-app/chat.md#chat-dock).
* **Studio** (builders, admins, owners): **[Luno Builder](https://docs.os.meetluno.ai/build-with-ai/platform-agent.md)**, a built-in building agent. Describe the agent, workflow, or automation you want in chat, and it builds it for you — writing real TypeScript in your project behind the scenes, connecting integrations, and deploying when you're ready.
* **Governance** (admins, owners): people, roles, Spaces, budgets, models and access for the whole organization.

You can also talk to any deployed agent directly from its page or from the chat dock. See [run agents](https://docs.os.meetluno.ai/learn/agents/run-agents.md#use-agents-in-the-web-app).

Everything is still built on the same TypeScript framework in a real project, so technical teammates and coding agents can pick up, review, and extend anything built in the app — and vice versa.

What's coming next:

* **Visual builders for agents and workflows**: create and edit without leaving the browser.
* **Organization registries**: share skills, agents, workflows, and context across your team.
* And much, much more.

Our mission is to become the go-to place for *all employees* to build agents and AI-driven automations. Those comfortable in an IDE or CLI can also [build with their coding agent](https://docs.os.meetluno.ai/build-with-ai/onboarding.md).
